Already full of character, our Salon’s building has been an iconic fixture of Toorak Road long before we moved in.
To restore this grand dame for a new chapter, we worked with Melbourne architect Pete Kennon from Studio Kennon, and builder Four Seasons Commercial Interiors to create an interior that merges old and new world together—where Italian terrazzo meets dichroic glass, and stainless steel provides a beautiful contrast against the building’s iconic arches. We think it’s a perfect reflection of who we are now—always reinventing, always surprising.
From our individual arched mirrors, to a dramatic light installation by Melbourne designer Luke Mills, every detail of our new space tells a story. See the world through Scandizzo coloured lenses, and take a peep inside.

Rachel has been gracing the hair world since 2010, and during that time she’s moved from Joey’s protégé, to Creative Director, and Eleven Australia Education Ambassador.
Her passion is free-hand painting, she’s an expert in long hair cutting and styling, and she’ll give you the best blow dry of your life (promise).
She’s head colourist at Joey Scandizzo Salon, and blends a balayage with startling precision.

With 20 years in the industry, John Scandizzo is one of our directors at Joey Scandizzo Salon.
He cuts hair like no one else, he’s a huge fan of bobs, and will probably turn you away if you ask for a perm.
A few facts: kind-hearted John is always the last one standing at the party, and he’s Joey’s brother. Not that you could tell.

Since 2000 (woah) Joseph has been transforming hair. Today he’s a Director at Joey Scandizzo Salon, and he’s responsible for training the next generation of talent.
His area of expertise is precision cutting (not surprising given he’s a perfectionist), but he’s meticulous in everything he does.
Like a magician, he can change your entire look with a pair of scissors, and quite frankly, we wouldn’t be Joey Scandizzo Salon without him.
